- The Keys Local starts every venue relationship with the short form on this page. Venue owners send their venue name, island, and a way to reach them. We reply to walk through getting listed or fixing an existing listing. There's no self-serve signup yet, and that's on purpose.
- Does it cost anything to be listed?
- Getting listed is free. The Keys Local lists Keys venues editorially at no charge. We may add a clearly labeled paid placement option down the road, but it would never move a venue up the honest rankings, and there's no price to quote because there's no such product today. Tell us your venue and we'll be straight about what's available.
- Will paying move my venue up the rankings?
- No. The Keys Local keeps any paid placement fully separate from honest ranking, and by design the ranking never reads who paid. If a paid option ever exists, it only appears inside a clearly labeled block. Our editorial standards page spells out the firewall in full.
- Can I claim or correct a listing that's already there?
- Yes. Venue owners can tell us about a listing that's already up and we'll get it corrected or updated. Claiming isn't a self-serve button yet, so it runs through the form on this page. Send your venue name and what needs fixing, and we'll handle it.
- My venue isn't in Key West. Can I still get listed?
- Yes. Key West runs deepest today, and venues on every Keys island can get listed. Venue owners on every island can get on the list now.
